The Office of the Prosecutor was founded on the idea that a crime against one of us is a crime against all of us. In some jurisdictions, the Prosecutor may be called the State’s Attorney or the District Attorney. Together with my top-notch staff, we work vigorously to ensure justice is sought in the courtroom and to successfully manage the office’s many other functions including a large child support division, investigative and high-tech crimes units, victim advocate services, and Adult Protective Services. The Prosecutor is responsible for overseeing approximately 80 employees across the several different divisions within the office. We work with local, state, and federal law enforcement as well as the Vanderburgh County Council. We file and appear on behalf of the State of Indiana in all criminal matters in Vanderburgh County.
