The Prosecutor

It is an honor to serve as your Vanderburgh County Prosecutor, and I will continue to pursue justice and fight on behalf of crime victims with grit and determination. 2023 and 2024 were phenomenal years, and I am proud of the work my team accomplished for Vanderburgh County and will continue to accomplish going forward. Each year, the deputy prosecutors secure convictions in hundreds of cases taking criminals off the streets, the victim advocates assist crime victims by navigating them through the complicated justice process, the child support staff enforces child support for thousands of Vanderburgh County children, and the adult protective services unit investigates reports of abuse to our vulnerable senior population and other endangered adults.

I am especially pleased to announce that in 2023 and 2024 alone, my office invested over $119,000 of forfeiture funds into the community through organizations like Holly’s House, Heartbeats for Heroes, Safe Haven Baby Boxes, Albion Fellows Bacon Center, the Evansville Police Foundation, law enforcement partners, and more.

My team continues to take an innovative approach to crime prosecution through our nationally recognized High Tech Crime Unit, hosting a National Integrated Ballistic Information Network van, and the establishment of a Crime Gun Intelligence Center. In addition, my office has assumed leadership of the regional Sexual Assault Response Team.

Together, we will continue the pursuit of an upstanding and safe Vanderburgh County.
